Erico received his PhD in Crop and Soil Sciences from the in 2013. His PhD research focused on photosynthetic optimization of microalgae production in photobioreactors. Erico focused his research on the use of LED’s and feedback mechanisms to better understand how different lighting methods affect photosynthesis. Along the way, Erico graduated from in 2012. Singularity University is a global community using exponential technologies to tackle the world’s biggest challenges.

In his free time, Erico can be found (or not) riding his motorcycle in the Georgia mountains!
